the fierce protection of pleasure and dreaming

These are a sample of a large series of C-prints that are a part of an emerging collage inquiry based on the fierce protection of pleasure and dreaming amidst uprisings, pandemics and climate catastrophe. Walks in gardens and wild places in the Pacific Northwest blend through organic atmospheric textures, paint, and found materials upending ground, water and sky. Hand cut collages from manipulated images point toward speculative futures where the more than human world proliferates with abundance. 2019+

Meet me in outer space
We could spend the night.
I've grown tired of this place
We could start again
